Multinational Consumer Goods Giant: Next generation e-commerce on AWS and Adobe Marketing Cloud

British American Tobacco (BAT) is a globally recognised consumer goods company which was in the process of adapting to customer demands on the aspects of sustainability, healthier living and newer lifestyle and fashion conventions. They wanted to establish a federated approach so markets would have greater flexibility as they build old and new e-commerce websites. Reaching out to Verso Labs, we were able to design a system that met the client’s utilisation needs of Adobe Experience Management, s3 AWS, CloudFront and AWS app sync. Verso worked alongside vendors and other partners in Central & North America and Central Europe to devise market-specific strategies/systems. The developed system for BAT was incorporated. 

The client wanted to focus on these aspects while creating a common pattern across markets for a PIMS.

Situation

The client BAT is a globally recognised consumer goods company who were in the process of adapting to consumer demands in terms of sustainability, healthier living, and newer conventions around lifestyle and fashion. The client wants to establish a federated approach for markets to have greater flexibility when building old, new e-commerce websites a marketing material well creating a common pattern that all markets can adopt a standard product information management system, a reusable set of assets for rolling out scalable e-commerce websites and digital asset management system that can be used across the globe while adhering to regional regulations in a multitalented setup. 

Solution

The client reached out to Verso labs to help design a system that would meet the use of Adobe Experience Manager AWS, s3 AWS CloudFront, and AWS app sync and would use Magento as the engine of the E-commerce engine for the platform. versal labs worked with vendors and other partners in Central America North America and Central Europe to devise to understand better regional constraints on considerations and existing ways of working with local creative agencies.

Outcome
The result or outcome in live proof of concept system that incorporates that incorporated, Adobe Experience Manager integrated with AWS and Magento this the solution would be playable when new markets when new or existing markets wanted to, to redesign or whatever the new one a new one of the new website it would allow it allows agencies to share digital assets with as well it allows agencies to host digital assets without letting other regions and other parts of the business having access to those assets.
